Creados en el año 1996 en Ashenville (Carolina del Norte, EEUU), Daylight Dies son uno de los mejores exponentes dentro del doom death y de la música metal en general que se puedan encontrar hoy día. Influenciados por el "sonido Katatonia" de Brave Murder Day y añadiéndole su toque personal han sabido labrarse una carrera envidiable, cargada de temas intensos, emotivos y puros como pocos.
Personalmente he querido dedicar esta entrada a este gran pero injustamente desconocido grupo, al que creo que todo fan de la música en general debería darle una oportunidad.
